This is my first blog and I am not sure where to start. I will start the same way I do when staring at a blank canvas. If I don't have a specific idea I start with a color. I look at my paints and decide what color speaks to me. Let's say shades of Blue. I take my palette knives and apply paint, I like layers of paint adding and scraping some away. I like to have some of the bottom layer colors peak through. Creating texture to give my painting more dimension and movement. Here is an example of one I created.
